What do you have in your tool box for self care? Do you have one?
I remember my teacher telling us "When you are having a challenge, dump your tool box out onto the floor and throw out what is not working for you."
This tool box is very important. I remember when I did not have one or know what to put in it if I did have one. When I learned how to help myself heal and be well, I made this site so I could share all these wonderful techniques with you. The Tool Box is imaginary yet the things inside, we hold in our physical mind. The things inside hold the techniques and practices that empower us for wellness and well-being.
What would you put inside your tool box for emergencies, emotional upsets, strained relationships with yourself and others, pain, injuries, illness, dis-ease, fear and stress? There are many ideas on this site. Look through this site Deborah's Little Gems or in the labels on the right column. and Find the techniques you enjoy and are effective for you. Bookmark them and create an imaginary Tool Box to place them in. And when we get a bit out of sorts, or bang our knee into a chair or stress out over the holidays, your Tool Box is right there with just the right techniques to use to assist you in what ever way you need.
For example in my Tool Box I have some exotic favorite therapies like:
Creating A Tool Box:
Mine is an imaginary treasure chest of sorts. One that belonged to pirates and had been used to hold secret notices and perhaps rubies and gold. You imagine your own.
It could be for example:
Let us hold an intention that once we imagine our newly created Tool Box it will be recalled immediately for our own enjoyment and benefit. We can enjoy this treasure chest of techniques and practices and apply what is inside!

Mine is an imaginary treasure chest of sorts. One that belonged to pirates and had been used to hold secret notices and perhaps rubies and gold. You imagine your own.
It could be for example:
- silver, wood, brass, or glass.
- plain, carved or decorated with bright jewels or sea shells.
- It could be specially fashioned by angels, fairies, gods, goddesses, or spiritual guides.
- It could be lined with red velvet or encrusted with diamonds
- It could be antique or modern
- it could be a tackle box with tiny compartments or a jewelry box or treasure chest
