Praying for Rain Technique

Praying For Rain Technique

Imagine your prayer or desire happening in the present moment in living color. This is a powerful practice. I am making myself a special journal to record my prayers and desires as if they have already been answered.

For example,  I heard a beautiful story told by Gregg Braden. He received a call from his Native American friend. His friend asked him if he would like to go out into the desert to visit a place his ancestors had built. He was going there to pray for rain. This was during one of the longest droughts recorded in the Southwest. They traveled out into the desert until his friend found the site. Instead of praying for rain his friend imagined the rain, he smelled the rain, he felt his naked feet in the mud and saw the rain running down the roofs of his pueblo. Here is the video and the written story below.

I am not an affiliate of Gregg Braden. I just enjoy his work and want to share it.

This is a powerful practice of being in the change you want by using all your senses and emotions to bring it to full dramatic life within you. Imagination is magnetic.
